Travel Dalmatian Coast

The Dalmatian Coast of Croatia stretches from the Rijeka harbor to Dubrovnik in the south. It is a very beautiful long stretch of nice sandy beaches set against the backdrop of dramatic mountains. Its waters are very clear and clean making it a famous tourist destination in the whole of Europe. It also boasts of being the largest archipelago in the Mediterranean. Located in the Dalmatian Coast are some of the beautiful islands which are a must to visit. One of these is Trogir which is made up of Trogir Island and Ciovo Island. It boasts of medieval buildings, palmed promenades and well maintained parks. The North Gate, a beautiful renaissance construction, is the main entrance of Stari Grad in Trogir Island. This gate is now in the UNESCO World Heritage list.

If you want a wider variety of activities and nightlife then head out to the city of Split. Also located in this city is the summer palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian.

The island of Brac, the largest island in Central Dalmatia, is where ocean lovers head out to. People come here for Ziatni rat, a peninsula of white pebble beaches and crystal clear emerald waters.
